One story, three surfaces

The same readings follow you into Wallet and Points Strategy.

Wallet applies Conservative, Average, and Highest to balances. Points Strategy tests a card choice across the same three readings before naming a leader.

Data & Resources

Elite status

Elite status perks across every major airline and hotel program we track — what each tier actually requires, and what you get once you're there.

Verified as of: August 13, 2026

Pulled straight from each program's own pages — but these programs change their rules often, so it's worth confirming the details before you commit to a tier.

Recent Points & Programs Updates

Program rate changes, transfer-partner additions and removals, and valuation shifts — tracked as they happen, with a source link where we have one.

How we verify our numbers

AwardWallet supplies Average point values. Issuer and program pages supply transfer ratios, card facts, and status rules.

Where each figure comes from

AwardWallet supplies Average point values. Issuer and program pages supply transfer ratios, card facts, and status rules. Data last verified August 13, 2026.

Program name map

The program name map lines up this site’s name, AwardWallet’s name, transfer-list names, and common search aliases. Download it as CSV or JSON. Each deploy rebuilds both files from the published dataset. Send row corrections to hello@pointsandprompts.com.

Point & mile values

Average values come from AwardWallet, based on real member bookings. We serve a verified static snapshot of that data, not a live feed.

Transfer rules & card benefits

The issuers' own pages, where every ratio and credit is confirmed before it goes on this site.

Program changes & analysis

Where the 2025–2026 devaluations, launches, and quirks in the changelog and the Toolbox came from.

Frequently asked questions

Where do your point values come from?

Average values come from AwardWallet, based on real member bookings. We serve a verified static snapshot of that data, not a live feed. Transfer ratios and card benefits are confirmed against the issuers’ own pages before they go on the site.

How often are the numbers updated?

Values, ratios, and status requirements were last verified August 13, 2026. When a program devalues or changes a transfer partner, the numbers change the same day and the change is logged on the Updates page.

Do you use AI to make up numbers?

No. We do not invent valuations. Ask is on this site. Signed-out visitors get Instant Read from the dataset, not a wallet-grounded model answer. Every recommendation shows the math and the sources used. AI-generated answers are not financial advice.

Do you require a bank login?

No. You can tell us which cards and programs you hold and type your balances, and that path is the complete path today — nothing here requires connecting a bank. Automatic import is coming with beta. When it ships, it will run through Plaid: you sign in at your bank inside Plaid’s own window, we never see or store your credentials, and we keep monthly category totals rather than your transactions. You will be able to disconnect at any time and your numbers stay.
